Michael Ballack is a committed UNAIDS Special Representative. His aim is to heighten awareness, educate youngsters and combat the stigma and discrimination associated with HIV/AIDS.
Ballack's aim is to get young people to know the truth about AIDS, and how they can protect themselves.
Michael's message on Worlds AIDS Day is: --

"I have made my promise and I am keeping it - isn't it time you made yours?" Michael Ballack is an extremely talented professional football (soccer) player. He currently plays for Chelsea, and used to play for Bayern Munich FC (2002-2006), Bayer Leverkusen (1999-2002), Kaiserslautern FC (1997-1999), Chemnitz FC (1990-1997), and Karl-Marx-Stadt FC (1986-1990).
